INTRODUCTION

Diemme Black Publishing LLC (dba DBP) (“DBP” or “We”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through our compliance with this Privacy Policy (this “policy”).

INFORMATION WE COLLECT ABOUT YOU

We collect several types of information from and about users of our Services, including information by which you may be personally identified, such as name, postal address, e-mail address or any other information our Services collect that is defined as personal or personally identifiable information under an applicable law (“personal information”).  This includes information:

  • You choose to give us. You may choose to give us personal information directly in a variety of situations. We or our third party hosting provider (hereinafter the “External Hosting Provider”) may record information when you enter one of our Websites which may help us provide you with access to our Websites, operate our Websites, comply with various requirements (such as but not limited to security and legal requirements), and for other purposes described in this policy.  Such information may include passwords, IP address, location and browser settings. For example, when you visit our Websites or access our Services, we may log certain information that your browser sends us, such as your IP address (including information deriving from your IP address such as your geographic location), browser type, version and language, access time, duration of access, and referring website addresses.   • Related to Your Social Media Accounts. If you use social media, we may access or collect your social media identification you make available over social media.
  • About your Use of Our Services. We may collect information about your use of our Services to improve your experience, tailor our interactions with you, provide promotional offers and messages, and improve and develop our products and services.

INFORMATION COLLECTED THROUGH AUTOMATIC DATA COLLECTION TECHNOLOGIES

As you navigate through and interact on our Services, our External Hosting Provider may use automatic data collection technologies to collect certain information about your equipment, browsing actions, and patterns, including but not limited to:

The information our External Hosting Provider collects automatically may be statistical data but may also include personal information, and it may maintain it or associate it with other personal information it collects in other ways or receives from third parties. The technologies our External Hosting Provider uses for this automatic data collection may include:

  • Cookies (or browser cookies). A cookie is a small file placed on the hard drive of your computer. You may refuse to accept browser cookies by activating the appropriate setting on your browser. However, if you select this setting you may be unable to access certain parts of our Services. Unless you have adjusted your browser setting so that it will refuse cookies, our system may issue cookies when you direct your browser to our Services.

HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use information that we collect about you or that you provide to us, including any personal information:

  • To present our Services and their contents to you. If you do not wish to have your email address or contact information used by us to promote our products or services, you can opt-out of receiving promotional emails at the time of providing data. If we have sent you a promotional email, you may click on the “unsubscribe” link or other opt-out or do-not-subscribe instructions in the email footer to be omitted from all future email distributions.  Please note that this opt-out may not apply to emails sent by us as a result of a product purchase, or other similar transactions.

SPECIAL NOTICE TO CALIFORNIA CONSUMERS

California residents may request a list of certain third parties to which we have disclosed personally identifiable information about you for their own direct marketing purposes. You may make one request per calendar year. In your request, please attest to the fact that you are a California resident and provide a current California address for your response. In addition to any other rights granted under our Privacy Policy, as a California resident, you have the right to:

  • Know what specific pieces of personal information we have collected and retained about you, in addition to the categories of your personal information, over the previous 12 months.
  • Receive a copy of your personal information.
  • Request deletion of personal information we have collected from you

Right to “Opt-out” of “Sale”

You have the right to know whether your personal information is being sold and to opt out of such sale. Your personal information is sold when it is shared with a third party for monetary or other valuable consideration for a purpose that is not a “business purpose” as set forth in the CCPA. DBP does not sell your personal information, so we do not offer an opt out.

DATA SECURITY 

If we have given you (or if you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of our Services, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we endeavor to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted via our Services.
